Follow the instructions below to download and install the 6.51 update release. Note: You must be running ExpensAble version 6.50 to install this release.
Installation Instructions:
- View the release notes.
- Download and install the ExpensAble 6.51 update. The filename is "UPDATE.EXE" (file size: 1.28 MB).
- Approximate download time is 0.8 minutes with a 56K modem.
- Save the file to your Program Files\ExpensAble directory.
- Once the download is complete, exit ExpensAble if it is running.
- Double-click UPDATE.EXE, or from the Start menu, choose Run..., to begin the update.
- Once the update is complete, you will have version 6.51 of ExpensAble. From the Help menu, choose "About ExpensAble" to verify you have version 6.51.
- Delete "UPDATE.EXE" from the Program Files\ExpensAble directory.

Features and fixes in Version 6.51:

Improved the process of exporting and importing ExpensAble configuration files: A "Report Formats" section has been added to the "Export ExpensAble configuration" window, enabling users to export and import Report Formats with custom Report Labels.
- A new expense report format has been added, named "Standard ExpensAble.com", which conforms to the style of ExpensAble.com's web-based expense reports.
- For ExpensAble.com users: Enhanced the downloading of department names in configuration files.
- For ExpensAble.com users: Enhanced the authentication process when logging into ExpensAble.com using a proxy server.
- Corrected the issue of the duplication of Billables with names exceeding 30 characters when importing them from QuickBooks.
- Improved the ability to send special characters (&,<,>,',") when submitting transactions to QuickBooks.
