Follow the instructions below to download and install the 5.0.3/5.5.3 update release. Note: You must be running ExpensAble version 5.0.2 to install this release.
Installation Instructions:
- View the release notes.
- Download and install the ExpensAble 5.0.3/5.5.3 update. The filename is "UPDATE.EXE" (file size: 3.88MB). Approximate download time is 4.5 minutes with a 56K modem.
- Save the file to your Program Files\ExpensAble directory.
- Once the download is complete, exit ExpensAble if it is running.
- Double-click UPDATE.EXE, or from the Start menu, choose Run..., to begin the update.
- Once the update is complete, you will have version 5.0.3/5.5.3 of ExpensAble. From the Help menu, choose "About ExpensAble" to verify you have version 5.0.3/5.5.3.
- Delete "UPDATE.EXE" from the Program Files\ExpensAble directory.
- If you have any questions, please go to www.ExpensAble.com/Customer-Care.

Features and fixes in Version 5.0.3/5.5.3:
- New VAT, GST/PST, and HST tax reporting: VAT (Value-added Tax), GST/PST (Goods and Services Tax or Provincial Sales Tax) and HST (Harmonized Salesn Tax) Reports show expenses from all envelopes in the file that have incurred such taxes. Capture and report how much VAT, GST/PST or HST tax you've been charged on business expenses over a period of time, and get reimbursed for the often-reclaimable taxes by the countries that levy them. Note: This feature is for users of ExpensAble.com (ExpensAble version 5.5.3) only.
- Improved the sorting of expense envelopes: The Envelopes window - List view now displays an indicator of the sort setting, whether it be by Scanned Items, Status, Name, Amount, Paid, or Submitted Date.
- Corrected the issue of an expense amount, of a transaction with Foreign Currency entered, being reset to zero after the Merchant was edited.
- Corrected the issue of the Print Preview Zoom Out button being dimmed when it should have been active.
