Follow the instructions below to download and install the 5.0.1 update release. Note: You must be running ExpensAble version 5.0 to install this release.

Installation Instructions:

1. View the release notes.
   
2. Download and install the ExpensAble 5.0.1 update. The filename is "UPDATE.EXE" (file size: 1,542KB). Approximate download time is 1.5 minutes with a 56K modem.
3. Save the file to your Program Files\ExpensAble directory.
4. Once the download is complete, exit ExpensAble if it is running.
5. Double-click UPDATE.EXE, or from the Start menu, choose Run..., to begin the update.
6. Once the update is complete, you will have version 5.0.1 of ExpensAble. From the Help menu, choose "About ExpensAble" to verify you have version 5.0.1.
7. Delete "UPDATE.EXE" from the Program Files\ExpensAble directory.

Features and fixes in Version 5.0.1:

• The all-new Cash Tracking report is now available. A Cash Tracking report lists all the cash expenses for one or more envelopes in the currently open file. It's useful for tracking cash transactions and reconciling them with the cash dollar amount that you started your trip with.
• Fixed the problem of not being able to go back a page in Print Preview.
• Corrected the functionality of the following items:
• Trash can button now functions correctly.
• Shortcuts to memorized reports are now added correctly.
• Fixed error in Shortcuts List when a memorized report is deleted and a shortcut to it is visible.
• Fixed error in Shortcuts List when a memorized report is re-memorized, and user chooses to keep the same report name, and a shortcut to the report is visible.
• All Genies and the Guided Setup are now updated so that tabbing works through all controls and buttons.
• Fixed to allow special xml "entity" characters like & and ; in fields sent to QuickBooks.
• Fixed to allow multiple users on an XP machine, with site license registration.
• QEM export/import (such as with the Send Expense Report via Email feature), now works with sub-billables.
• ASCII Transaction Import no longer creates duplicate bill-to entries.
